Fox Glacier is located on the south islands westcoast. Directly on SH6, this viewpoint is extreme easy to access.

It always amazes me to look at photos like these and think "holy crap, places like this are real...and they're on our planet!" I can't wait to get my arse over to New Zealand. Great photo!! :D

Thanks, sadly we could not hike towards the Glacier, cause it was off limits for non guided Tourists, and we forgot to book a Tour :-(
