Lake Tekapo 2011, fine Weather, great clouds and great mood. The Chapel of the Good Shepard again without too many tourists.

Thanks New Zealand, you were good to us!

HDR was put together from 3 Exposures with 1 EV Bracketing with Photomatix.

What did you do that made this into a photomanipulation?

Well it is an HDR. So the manipulaition is the combination of three Exposues with a 1 EV Bracket (-1 0 +1). After I combined it into a 32 Bit image via Photomatix I uses the Detail Enhancer to compress the dynamic Range into a 8 Bit Image. Also I increased the Contrast via Tonal Contrast with Color Efex Pro.

Those are all within the accepted normal processing for photos these days and are not considered to be photomanipulation, just enhancement, which nearly everyone does one way or another with their photos. Also some cameras (e.g. Sony A550 and Nikon P7100) even produce a combined HDR photo in-camera, so this definitely isn't photomanipulation.

I love the POV and "presence" of this shot!

Thank you, but that is nearly the only angle you can shoot, without getting a lot of tourists on the picture:-)

Also You are right, I am going to sort some of my HDRs in the correct Category. Thanks for the advice!
